Being a Better Photographer

After reading and watching the posts and videos I felt that  TEN: Ten Ways to Improve Your Craft. None of Them Involve Buying Gear  by David duChemin gave the best advice of the tips to take photos. I read over each of the tips and couldn’t make up my mind that was the best to choose. I was at work and saw the sun glaring at our Peace Lilly that is in honor of my owners dad and thought that was the perfect picture. Look to the light was one of the tips and in my opinion the light couldn’t have been more perfect.

I think lighting is one of the most important things to learn how to capture when taking photographs. Light can absolutely make a picture better or worse. This is why there is a lot of editing software that helps fix lighting because it challenging to have the perfect light on things everyday. Learning when and how to capture lights takes tons of practice but when you can post a great picture that has no editing it makes me feel accomplished. That is why I ended up using this tip, because the light on this plant is making it glow. Also, I love the fact that it is a memorial plant it lighting up like that makes me feel like Mr. Hein was watching over us that day and I captured it!
